When it comes to providing input, NorthstarMLS subscribers are simply the best at letting us know what’s going well and where we have opportunities to improve the ways we serve you.
In fact, the results of last year’s survey led us to focus efforts on new products and services like MLS-Touch, the collaboration with the Northwestern Wisconsin MLS, the OneHome Agent Portal and new website. We also heard your need for us to significantly speed up the time it takes for listings to appear/update on NorthstarMLS front ends. The new web API will solve that in the coming months.

With strategic planning for 2024 and beyond at top of mind, we again are asking for survey feedback. Starting Tuesday, November 7th, emails were sent to all subscribers from our survey partner marilyn@wavgroup.comcontaining a link to the survey.
The survey takes less than 15 minutes to complete on average. While you can stop or start the survey as needed, it will time out after an hour. Also, the link you use to access the survey can only be used once, so don’t share it with others.
If you did not receive the email on November 7, please request a new one from marilyn@wavgroup.com.

Survey Objectives
This is the second year that our annual membership survey results will be compared to respondents who are subscribers to other MLSs nationwide.
Survey results will provide insights into our offerings, as well as our unique strengths and weaknesses and how they compare to other MLSs who range from 1,100 – 50,000 subscribers. We will use this information to establish a baseline service score we will immediately use to guide NorthstarMLS activities in 2023.
Survey topics are divided into these five topics:
- Customer service
- Technology tools
- Data quality
- Responsiveness
- Leads

While the industry considers 9% to be a strong survey response, we know NorthstarMLS subscribers can beat that! We appreciate the opportunity to know what we should keep doing, stop doing or do differently to best serve you.
