With a single click, add energy ratings, third-party building certifications and solar electricity generation capabilities from the Green Building Registry® (GBR) to listings using new RESO green fields available in Add/Edit. Agents and appraisers can create thorough valuations that can add thousands of dollars of value to homes while assisting buyers in making informed purchasing decisions.

GBR provides performance data about how a home uses energy and what factors contribute to poor energy performance, high energy costs and high carbon emissions, giving buyers more details about the true cost of ownership for a property.

Green Data Available

GBR partners directly with programs to provide verified data for more than three million properties across the U.S. directly from sources such as the U.S. Department of Energy’s Home Energy Score program, LEED® for Homes, ENERGY STAR®, HERS® Index Scores, and other national and regional third-party verification programs.

GBR’s nationwide database includes information required by Minnesota municipalities including:

Bloomington – Mandatory time of sale disclosure requirement of other energy efficiency disclosure documentation.

Minneapolis – Mandatory disclosure of energy label to prospective buyers.
