There are a number of enhancements to NorthstarMLS offerings to better help support your real estate business. If you are a regular user of ShowingTime, MLS-Touch and RPR check out what’s new below. Or, if you aren’t using these offerings, now is a great time to get familiar with them and put them to use in your business. Learn more about all the tools NorthstarMLS offers here.

ShowingTime

The next Generation of ShowingTime is here! You can access ShowingTime through your MLS system (Matrix, Paragon, Flexmls) or directly from the NorthstarMLS Dashboard. DO NOT try to log into showingtime.com/login, it will not work.

The next generation of ShowingTime pairs an updated look and feel with dependable, familiar functionality and service to bring you a better experience. Along with some exciting new features, the fresh, modern interface is consistent between devices and can be personalized to your preferences, allowing you to work seamlessly no matter where you are.

Best of all, you can continue to use the version of ShowingTime you’re comfortable with and try out the next generation experience at your own pace.

Customizable options

Create an experience that’s all yours. The next generation of ShowingTime provides increased visibility of your brand and offers the choice of light or dark mode.

Choose your view

Easily view showing appointments through a variety of new, interactive calendar formats, using the one that best fits your needs.

Increased efficiency

Save time by performing actions to multiple items at once with the bulk select feature. This includes the ability to bulk cancel and schedule appointments, add/remove/change a contact for an activity or listing, and more.

Easily schedule multiple showings

Plan the most efficient route between multiple showings using the new tour building feature, so you can make the most of your time…and your clients’. You can even schedule in an all-important coffee break!

Agents and other users can set their default experience to the next generation of ShowingTime by following the below steps:

• Login to ShowingTime and toggle into the next generation experience by clicking the “Start using the next generation experience” banner at the top of your screen.
• Click the drop down next to your name in the top right corner of the page and select “Preferences.”
• Click the “Default Settings” tab and toggle “Default to the next generation experience” to “On.”

MLS-Touch

Discover the advantages of MLS-Touch, a subscriber benefit available to Matrix users! MLS-Touch has recently pushed out some updates to make it even better! It’s like having the MLS in the palm of your hand and so intuitively designed, you’ll be using it like a Pro the first time you log in!

It’s the only app seamlessly integrated with Matrix™, OneHome™ and Realist® to ensure your critical listing data, tax data and client activities is right at your fingertips, even when away from your desk. Download the app today from the App Store or Google Play Store.

RPR

RPR has rolled out some updates to their mobile application for 2024! All NorthstarMLS subscribers have access to the RPR desktop and mobile applications as a core service. The mobile application is more intuitive, efficient, and aligned with user needs, allowing for an optimized experience that directly improves day-to-day operations for our subscribers.

New Sign-In Screen and Initial Home Screen Experience

Upon login, you will now be greeted with a search screen inclusive of a map view, where you can immediately begin your property searches.

The toggle for “Residential/Commercial” has been removed to streamline the sign-in experience. Now, the app will automatically default to your mode of choice from the last session.

“Forgot Password” and “Create Account” have been transformed from links to more visible buttons, providing a cleaner interface.

Search Tab Improvements

The search functionality has been significantly enhanced. You can now draw directly on the map to delineate search areas, access the list view, and sort options with ease.

Property previews on the map have been improved for clarity and to include the number of photos available, aligning with the website’s presentation.

As a substantial improvement, the search results will now display up to 500 property pins, up from the previous limit of 50. This allows for a more extensive visual representation of available properties within a given map area.

My Work Tab Addition

The “My Work” tab has been introduced to centralize your active engagements with the RPR platform. This includes:

• An overview of listing counts across various categories.
• Access to current and past listings, with roles as listing agent, co-listing agent or buyer’s agent.
• A unified section for saved properties, searches, and notes, combining both residential and commercial entries without requiring a mode switch.
• The “My Recent” tab has been updated to include only recently viewed properties and searches, as “Recent Reports” have been moved to their own dedicated reports tab.

Trends Tab Continuity

The “Trends” tab remains unchanged and will continue to provide access to residential market trend charts, a vital tool for market analysis.

Reports Tab Overhaul

You can now interact with reports in a more streamlined fashion: You can create new reports, view recent ones, or view shared and delete outdated reports all from one place. This tab now includes descriptions under each report name and displays the number of pages when creating a report.

Mobile App Menu Reorganization

RPR is now  reorganized to include a “Menu” icon, which consolidates features previously found in the “Settings.” This refined menu allows for intuitive navigation to profile settings, notifications, and other user settings.

Welcome Guide

To assist you in acclimating to these updates, RPR Marketing will trigger a “Welcome Guide” that explains the new features upon app installation or update. This guide, designed to be visually engaging and informative, will be a swipeable interface similar to the welcome screen layouts common in app tutorials.
