NorthstarMLS 2022 Subscriber Survey Results are In
In mid-November 2022 we launched our annual NorthstarMLS subscriber survey, taking a different approach than in years past to gain more in-depth information about product offerings and industry perspective. Administered by WAV Group, the NorthstarMLS Customer Experience Index (CXI) received 1,741 subscriber responses and compared them to responses received by 19 other MLSs.

The results, summarized in the infographic below, show our strong standing in the areas of Customer Service, Data Quality, Technology and Responsiveness. The survey also provided a lot of qualitative information that we are still reviewing.
Areas for improvement identified in these comments include wanting further improvements to the NorthstarMLS Add/Edit system and simplifying the login/password requirements. We have plans for continued improvements in both areas with significant changes to our single sign-on process coming in the second half of the year.
Another theme from the comments was wanting a good mobile option. The survey was distributed just before the rollout of MLS-Touch™, which now provides significant mobile capabilities, keeping subscribers connected to critical listing data, tax data, and client activities while on the go.
We’ll have more updates as we incorporate this data into our planning for 2023 and beyond. Thank you to everyone who participated and provided this valueable feedback!
