Manufactured Home on Leased Land

Manufactured homes affixed to real property and on leased land are allowed in NorthstarMLS. When entering manufactured homes in the MLS, the Manufactured Y/N field must be checked Yes. When the Manufactured home Y/N is marked Yes, the Land Leased Y/N field is required.
Best Practice: Add TBD to the PID field for manufactured homes on leased land.
The intent is to allow manufactured homes affixed to leased land for sale in mobile home parks and such. The MLS may not be used for the sale of manufactured homes not on land (manufactured home dealer) or to be moved.
Definitions:
Manufactured Home: A structure, transportable in one or more sections, which in the traveling mode is eight body feet or more in width or 40 body feet or more in length, or, when erected on site, is 320 or more square feet, and which is built on a permanent chassis and designed to be used as a dwelling with or without a permanent foundation when connected to the required utilities, and includes plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and electrical systems contained therein. Land Leased: Ownership of the land is not included in the sale. A real estate transaction on leased land means that the purchaser is purchasing the home or building but must continue to lease the land.
